I have the greatest veneration for Jesus. He is the son of God with sacerdotal functions, and special blessing to reveal the love of God to human beings. However I do not believe that he is God. Jesus of Nazareth the son of Joseph and Mary was endowed with all the blessings to reveal the loving God to human beings.
According to me, only the Creator of the universe is God and no one else. I may be wrong and stand to be corrected.
God is the embodiment of Love. He created the universe and everything in it as objects to love. and He loves everything He created. Since love needs an object to love, as a magnet needs an iron particle to attract, the Creator, the source of Love, had to create billions and billions of objects. He loves all the objects He created.
He created you and me as objects to love and therefore He loves you and me. He created everything to love and He loves everything he Created. He will not cause any pain to those whom He loves. But He will have to correct us when we go wrong and the correction can be painful at times.
When we recognize the painful corrections as loving messages, the sting of correction will disappear. We will be thankful for the correction and be grateful rather than be hateful. If we develop the habit of being thankful for the corrections even if they are painful, it diminishes the intensity of pain.
Each religion has its own god. The god of each religion is an enemy of the god of other religions. Thus the god of Israel is an enemy of the god of the gentiles. Therefore there are thousands of gods,.none of them is the creator of the universe. The universe existed long before Jesus was born. I believe that Jesus is a very specially ordained human being , a very special messenger of God the Creator but not God the Creator of the Universe.
